Water on a Slope-Investigation 1

Today we tested water drops on slopes. We also compared the speed of different sizes of beads on the slope! We tested the speeds of large and small beads and the big beads went faster. When you drop drops on top of each other they went faster. We used a cafeteria lunch tray with wax paper taped on. We got two text books. We had droppers and a small cup of water. First we dropped drops on top of each other. Second we dropped drops from different heights on the slope. Then we compared speeds of the different sizes of beads on the slope. Finally we found out if one bead can chase and catch another- and they can! By Oliva Lambert, Oliva Warren, Anthony Soscia, Hailey D, Matthew Gane.

I like how we made a slope and the water raced down the slope and the small ones where slow and the big ones where faster I think it was a lot of fun making a slope and droped the water on the wax paper me and my freind raced and it was a tie me and my freind had a good time doing the slope.
